Our Story
Good Bones Furniture began in 2017 when founders Chris and Jason followed their passion for giving forgotten furniture a second life. What started as a hobby—rescued pieces transformed in garages and workshops—quickly became something bigger. Each dresser, chest, or sideboard we restored carried its own history, and our joy came from uncovering the hidden beauty in every detail.
Over time, people began to notice. Customers loved not only the pieces themselves, but also the care and artistry behind them. That passion grew into a thriving business dedicated to refinishing vintage furniture with bold finishes and timeless craftsmanship.
After eight years of hands-on experience—sanding, lacquering, designing, and refining—we took the next step: creating our own line of furniture. With Good Bones Furniture, we now offer collections that embody the same quality and character that defined our earliest work, but built new from solid woods, thoughtful finishes, and hardware designed to last a lifetime.
Our mission has remained the same from the very beginning: to create furniture that combines beauty, durability, and a sense of story. Whether it’s a hand-lacquered chest, a solid wood dresser, or an heirloom-quality dining piece, every item we offer is meant to be lived with, loved, and passed down.
At Good Bones Furniture, we believe furniture should feel as good as it looks—luxurious yet approachable, timeless yet designed for the way people live today.
